“I thought maybe Mei Mei would never be a restaurant again. But we always knew we needed to keep moving - food and the connections built around it remain central to our identity. Our incredible fans funded the purchase of our dumpling making-machine in 2021, which allowed us to expand to farmers’ markets all over Massachusetts. Their continued support allowed us to open a cafe at our new Dumpling Factory serving beloved dishes we know our fans have been missing over the last few years. We’re proud to be joining the many new small businesses opening in South Boston and we’re so grateful to the Mei Mei community for making our dreams a reality." - Irene Li
